Description
The Synetiano Panigiri 2026 takes place on Saturday 1 August in Syneti, a village in southern Andros near Korthi. A panigiri is a traditional Greek village festival, and this one is organised by the local Syneti cultural association, which has run it every year since 1980. It is one of the summer gatherings that fill the village square from late evening onwards.
The music comes from Lefteris Bafaloukos on the laouto (a long-necked Greek lute), joined by Vasilis Mavroidis, Stella Kofina and Vasilis Bilis. Violins and lutes carry the island dancing until dawn, with tables of friends and families leading the traditional Cycladic dances.
Entry is 7€ and the music starts at 21:30. To book a table, call 6976085386 in advance. The venue, the central square of Syneti, is easy to reach from Korthi and Chora on Andros island in the Cyclades.
