Description

Zannis Alk. Pittakidis is an architect based on Andros, with more than two decades of professional experience in design and construction across the Cyclades.

He received a degree in architecture from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2001 and a master's degree in «Architect – Restorer» in 2004. Between 1999 and 2003 he took part in NTUA research programmes focused on monument restoration and the rehabilitation of traditional and historic buildings and settlements. He has been an active member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (T.E.E.) since 2001.

He worked in private architectural practice from 2001 to 2007, and in 2008 he co-founded the architecture firm Altera Pars Architects with Petros Markouizos. Since 2015 he has served as a member of the Architectural Council of Andros – Tinos – Mykonos.

His areas of focus include contemporary Cycladic design, heritage restorations and the architectural design of residential homes, hotels and commercial spaces.
