The architecture firm Altera Pars Architects was founded in 2007 by Petros Markouizos and Zannis Pittakidis. Based on Andros with an active presence on Tinos, the Cyclades and Attica, the office counts more than twenty years of contemporary architectural practice.

The studio's philosophy balances Cycladic tradition with a contemporary architectural language: grounded, discreet buildings that respond to the light, the landscape and local materials, from dry-stone walls to the daily movement of the sun.

The services cover the full scope of a project: private residential homes, design for the hospitality sector (boutique hotels and wellness retreats), commercial and workspace projects, heritage restorations, interior design and project management.

From the scale of the landscape to the detail of the material, every project is approached with the same rigorous attention to quality and detail: an ongoing dialogue between design and the natural environment.
