Pisolimnionas Beach lies on the northwest coast of Andros, just 9 km from the port of Gavrio and near the better-known Fellos beach. It is a large, isolated and beautiful stretch of coarse sand and pebble with cool waters — a romantic setting with a magical sunset over the Aegean.

Well-hidden and far from the crowds, it is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. The water is fairly cold, as the beach faces toward Cavo d'Oro, while a cluster of trees offers a little shade near the sand. Afternoons are best for the sunset.

Note that there is no canteen or tavern in the area, so come fully equipped. Access is via a passable 4 km dirt road: driving toward Fellos, follow the signs and turn at the junction before Fellos beach, heading to a spot roughly below Mermigies.
