Piso Gialia Beach is one of the busiest beaches of Andros. In August it fills with boats and jet skis. Its waters are crystal clear and it is worth exploring the seabed with a sea mask. To the right of the beach, there are big rocks that everyone climb to dive. You can also find a beach bar for food, drinks, and coffee. It is also a passageway for all the island’s youth and families. Everyone rushes to find a sun lounger and relax to the sounds of the sea.

Access to the beach

Access is relatively easy. Following the road to Stenies, at the chapel of Agia Fotini you will find the stairs among the dry stone and wicker trees that lead to the beautiful beach. The access is therefore by a path and there are several steps, so it’s a good opportunity for exercise. Piso Gialia beach is one of the favorites of the locals and one of the best beaches in Andros.
