Greece’s toughest offshore yacht race returns for a 59th year. Since 1967 the 72 nautical mile course has finished at Andros, and for four days the island lives at its pace.

Thursday 27 August. The classic start at 13:00 from Vouliagmeni, with the simultaneous «Oinops» start from Chios. That evening on Andros, guided visits to the Goulandris Museum for «Germaine Richier, Conversations» (19:30) and to the Kaireios Library for «Andrian Works and Days» (20:15). At 22:30 the crews are welcomed at the port of Chora, with the arrival time depending on the wind.

Friday 28 August. «Get to know Andros» from 10:00, by registration. A beach party at Achla beach all day, and in the evening Pasta Night and a party at the Andros Yacht Club from 19:00.

Saturday 29 August. The Eurobank Private Banking Cup local race at 11:00. At 20:00 the prize giving ceremony at the Andros Open Air Theatre, with local Andrian treats.

Sunday 30 August. The «Spyros M. Polemis» coastal race at 11:00.
