Syneti Beach lies on the east coast of Andros, about 7 km from Chora, right below the village of the same name on the border of the Chora and Korthi districts. A natural cove of exceptional beauty, it is a favourite of locals and visitors alike.

It has bright-white quartz pebbles and natural afternoon shade from the mountains rising above it. A characteristic feature is the fresh water springing from a vein in the rocks, while the rocky shoreline forms natural diving platforms, with underwater caves near the slopes of Mt Kourvoulo.

Its beauty — stalactites, caves and deep blue waters — was showcased in the film Mikra Anglia, filmed here. The beach is the natural end of the famous Dipotamata valley, with its renowned gorge and traditional watermills. Access is easy, on an asphalt road that reaches close to the shore.

Faces northeast and is exposed to the meltemi. Suitable even when strong winds blow from the south, southwest or west.
