Description
The Municipality of Andros is a municipality of the South Aegean region that includes Andros and its neighboring islands. The area of the Municipality is 379.21 sq. km and its population is 9,221 inhabitants according to the seat of the municipality is Andros The municipal unit Andros occupies the entire central part of the island and is located between the municipalities of Gavrio, Batsi, and Korthio. The services of the municipality are housed in a neoclassical building located at the entrance of Chora, near the playground and the police station of Chora.
