Manesi Winery is a boutique winery in Apikia, Andros, where the art of winemaking meets the island’s landscape and history. In a carefully designed small-scale space, the Manesis family creates characterful wines that reflect the terroir of Andros, combining modern technology with deep knowledge and respect for tradition.

The winery tour & wine tasting experience at Manesi Winery starts with a guided walk through the vineyard and the production areas, where you learn about the local and Greek varieties cultivated here – such as Assyrtiko, Moschato, Potamisi, Roditis, Mavrotragano and Mandilaria – and the particular microclimate of Apikia. You’ll see how small-batch production, gentle vineyard practices and hand harvesting translate into wines with depth, balance and expressive aromas.

The second part of the experience focuses on a guided wine tasting, featuring the winery’s labels – including the "Meltemia" range and other limited-production wines. You’ll be introduced to the basics of tasting: colour, nose and palate, how grape varieties and soil influence the final character, and how each label tells a different story of Andros in the glass. The visit ends in a relaxed setting, with time to talk with the people of the winery, ask questions, purchase wines on the spot and, if available, pair them with selected local products.
