The Ydroussa Police Station is located in Gavrio, Andros (postal code 84501) and operates under the Cyclades Police Directorate of the Hellenic Police. The name comes from the former Municipality of Ydroussa, to which Gavrio belonged administratively before the Kallikratis local-government reform.

Its mission is to ensure public order and to serve residents and visitors of the wider port area. Its responsibilities include:

• Maintaining order and traffic control within and around the port
• Emergency response (accidents, thefts, public-order offences) in cooperation with the port authorities
• Day-to-day citizen service as a local police branch
