One of the most important male voices in Greek music, Dimitris Basis takes the stage of the Open Air Theatre for a summer evening of art-folk and popular Greek repertoire.

With roots in Byzantine music and a voice that brought him early recognition through Stamatis Kraounakis, Basis went on to collaborate with major artists including Giorgos Dalaras and Dimitris Mitropanos, establishing himself as one of the most authentic interpreters of his generation. Songs like "Psithiroi Kardias" and "Spasmeno Karavi" remain timeless hits.

In Andros, he presents a programme journeying through the great moments of Greek song, with the warmth and power that characterise his live performances.
