Description
Agios Kyprianos Beach is a small, lovely pebble beach on the west coast of Andros, named after the little chapel beside it. A few hundred metres from Kypri and Agios Petros beaches, it is a true oasis of calm — rarely caught by the wind and ideal when you want a still sea.
Sandy spots are limited, so an umbrella can be tricky to set up, but the crystal-clear waters make it perfect for snorkelling and for exploring a beautiful seabed visible to the naked eye. Plenty of rocks invite sunbathing, while trees and the chapel offer natural shade.
A small tavern on the beach also has showers. The view of the islets across the strait and the passing ferries is gorgeous, and Kypri — its more popular sibling — lies right next door.
