Piso Meria – Prophet Elias – Stavros Beach
Hiking Trail 19 is a journey through the unique agricultural landscapes of southern Andros. The trail starts with an uphill section from the village of Niona, passing through the forested slopes of Rachi and offering impressive views of the strait between Andros and Tinos. The path then descends towards the untouched coastal area of Stavros, where dry stone walls and traditional rural structures highlight the island’s cultural heritage. The hike ends at the secluded Stavros Beach, next to a charming small chapel, providing a sense of closeness to the neighboring island of Tinos.
