Anthos Gavriou is a family-run patisserie of the Zannaki family, baking traditional Greek sweets in Andros since 1980. The shop sits on the Gavrio waterfront just steps from the port, and you can find it by following the aromas drifting from the upstairs workshop: rose water, fresh butter, caramel and roasted almonds.
The heart of the menu is amygdalota, kaltsounia and pastitsakia — classic Andriot specialities prepared with care and quality ingredients. Alongside them you'll find handmade biscuits and koulourakia, individual chilled desserts, and traditional syrupy sweets that pair beautifully with a scoop of house-made ice cream.
The shop also serves quality coffee, and the outdoor tables with sea views over Gavrio bay make it the perfect stop for a morning break or an afternoon dessert after a stroll along the harbour. The space is family-friendly and open year round.
