Batsi Beach is a vast golden sandy beach with shade-giving tamarisks, set right within the picturesque traditional village of Batsi, with a charming view of its houses.

It is organized, huge and sheltered from the wind, ideal for children, families and groups — little ones can swim safely, as the sea is not deep. Across the way, the marina with boats of every size, dozens of shops, tavernas and bars make for an unforgettable nightlife. Batsi, a former fishing village that found its way through tourism, is where it all began; today the traditional blends harmoniously with the modern.

The beach is also wonderful for a night swim: many choose to bathe in the evening, with the village lights all around creating a romantic scene.

Faces southwest, in a sheltered bay where the mountains to the east and north form a natural barrier. Suitable even when strong winds blow from the north, northeast, east or northwest.
