For a twelfth consecutive year, DJ Avgoustinos comes from London to Andros Yacht Club on Friday 14 August. The night starts at 22:00 and runs until morning.

Behind the name is Avgoustinos Galiassos, London-based since 2003. He hosts a weekly show on London Greek Radio and on Hellenic TV, founded Hellenic Nights London in 2005, and has held residencies at Nozomi and Buddha Bar Knightsbridge. He returns to Andros every August with the same party.

The venue carries its own history. Andros Yacht Club was founded in 1957 on Neimborio bay, right at the water's edge, looking out over the Aegean and the old town. Olympic medallist Nikos Kaklamanakis started out in its sailing classes, and since 1967 the club has organised the Ioannis V. Goulandris International Sailing Race. Its bar and restaurant open every evening through the summer and are open to the public.
