The Amalia Gardens Residency presents its third artistic residency, "Rooted in Stone: A Herbarium of the Aegean", a group exhibition opening on 1 August 2026 at the Batsi Community Cultural Center and running until 30 August.

Seven artists from Greece and abroad, Sergej Andreevski, Alexis Avlamis, Nikos Kaskouras, Chrysa Liarmakopoulou, Satu Metsola, Nikola Pijanmanov and Maria Todeschini, created new works inspired by the flora and landscape of Andros after a period of research at the residency in Vitali. The exhibition is curated by Charis Savvidis, the residency's artistic director.

Open to the public with free entry throughout August. Batsi is on the northwest coast of Andros, in the Cyclades.
