The Women's Association of Andros hosts the 3rd Folk Dance Gathering of Cultural Associations «Welcome Friends» at the Open Air Theatre of Chora for the third consecutive year. A spectacular two-day celebration featuring 13 dance groups from across Greece — from Lesvos and Syros to Evia, Ioannina and Tripoli.

The stage comes alive with traditional costumes, regional dances and live music in a vibrant showcase of Greek heritage and hospitality. Musical accompaniment by the ensemble «Amoroza», featuring violin, santouri, laouto, wind instruments and vocals.

Participating groups from Patras, Syros, Lesvos, Vari, Ioannina, Evia, Northern Athens, Karditsa, Volos, Vrilissia, Tripoli, Corinth and the local «Choreandros» of Andros.

Co-organised by the Region of South Aegean and the Municipality of Andros.
