The theatrical performance «Agoromana» arrives at the Andros Municipal Theatre in Chora for one night only. Now in its fourth year, the show has become a much-discussed work on the contemporary Greek stage — a candid, often hilarious opening into the world of motherhood and parenting that strips away the polite silences and Instagram-perfect myths around family life.
Performed by Afroditi Mitsopoulou and Iakovos Molybakis, the piece sits somewhere between stand-up comedy, documentary and music-theatre. It speaks about guilt, exhaustion, the relentless desire to eat an entire ice cream in secret — and the fight for real equality at home. A voice against gendered stereotypes and a warm embrace for anyone who has felt invisible in the most demanding role of their life. Each evening a different guest appears on stage, making every show genuinely unrepeatable.
Production by Scratch Theater Company. Running time 70 minutes. Tickets 12€ — advance sale at the «Grafi» bookshop (Sofia Garyfallou, Chora Andros). Reservations +30 22820 24201, info +30 6945 63 58 38.
