Kalliberry is a one-of-a-kind complex of three restored century-old stone houses nestled in the village of Kalyvari, in northern Andros. The Cave house sits at an elevation of 230 metres, offering sweeping views of the Aegean Sea and unforgettable sunsets towards Cape Kafireas, also known as Cavo D’Oro.

Three friends — Dimosthenis, Catherine and Thanos — left Athens in 2014 to bring this passion project to life. They carefully restored the original structures, preserving their Cycladic character while adding vintage touches and a deeply personal aesthetic. The Cave features two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a private pool and expansive outdoor areas complete with a hammock, sun loungers and a stone barbecue.

A stay at Kalliberry is far more than accommodation. You can pick fresh vegetables from the garden, enjoy a hands-on beekeeping experience — the hosts are professional beekeepers with a honey factory in nearby Gavrio — or simply unwind by the pool watching the sunset paint the sky. Yoga mats with Aegean views are provided for those seeking mindful relaxation.

Located close to Gavrio, the main port of Andros in the Cyclades, the property’s seclusion is part of its charm — perfect for travellers seeking tranquillity and a genuine connection with nature.
