Maria Papageorgiou returns to Andros with her popular vocal workshop «Ftou Xelefteria» (“Phew, Freedom!”) on Sunday 17 May 2026, from 11:00 to 15:00 at the Andros KOINSEP space in Korthi. This four-hour experiential session is open to anyone who loves singing and wants to reconnect with their voice and inner musicality — no prior musical training required.

Through hands-on exercises and traditional songs, participants will explore diaphragmatic breathing, resonance points, voice strengthening for speech and song, and polyphonic singing rooted in Greek folk tradition. The workshop also touches on the Tomatis method of listening, how our voice connects to emotional expression, and practical techniques for protecting vocal cords from strain.
